I came across this one who's lucky enough, or clever enough, to have ended up in Jumeirah Beach Residence.
He looked well fed, but there was obviously something smelling good in the bin...

Moving back to Dubai after 22 years has been an experience! Back then we didn't have the internet or blogs. Now we do I can jot down my thoughts on daily life, things we come up against, things we enjoy, the multi-national society, the laws, the weather...plus other things in general which catch my attention.

haha, clever kitty :-) Oh dear, it probably won't be long before the municipality shows up and catches him/her. Their "stray cat drive" has really ticked Feline Friends and numerous cat lovers in Dubai off... originally, the plan apparently was to trap, neuter, release healthy cats and to euthanize sick, old and injured cats. But now it seems that all they're doing is putting cats down... I agree, there are too many stray cats on the streets (heck, I now own 3 of them and have rehomed numerous others) but by getting rid of all the cats and still keeping those large, open rubbish bins everywhere, you're just asking for a rodent problem...
He/she does look pretty healthy & well fed - hopefully can keep one step ahead of the hit squad...
There was an initiative going around on collecting stray cats
Seems like an excited male, upon close inspection haha!
