What's going on?

Dubai's first-in-the-world much vaunted air-conditioned bus stops, so recently installed, are now being boarded up:

Why?

i*maginate said...: I, too, wondered. Good you actually posted about it. No longer need to vent my frustrations. No bus to catch...for now!

Recall went to ENOC petrol station 4 days ago...graphic on front shop door read along the lines of:

RTA ... report violations of

'pavement destruction
traffic lights not working..."

'all calls come with reward'
