Moving back to Dubai after 22 years has been an experience! Back then we didn't have the internet or blogs. Now we do I can jot down my thoughts on daily life, things we come up against, things we enjoy, the multi-national society, the laws, the weather...plus other things in general which catch my attention.

The Arabic text above doesn't convey any meaning in the arabic language. It is the english pronunciation written in Arabic - which doesn't sound too accurate when you do read it loud.

I've actually asked that question before - is the Arabic a true translation or is it just a phonetic copy of the English words. On my October post about a fish & chip shop Abid said the Arabic simply says "feesh sheep"
