Worthy Thingamy safely installed.

I wasn't aware in advance that your car won't be registered unless it comes equipped with a Trigonal Baffle-Board.

A Trigonal Baffle-Board?

Don't panic about it if your car's soon to be re-registered though, they're on sale when you take the car in for inspection.

State of the art, technologically advanced yet they cost only Dh30. And they look like this:

Well, like this when they're twisted into shape:

It's not only a Worthy Thingamy, amazingly, it Protects The Whole Shoot.

I know this from the helpful information on the box.

Love the packaging! Is that at original Lotus Esprit, last manufactured circa 1984?

This is really an economical but yet profitable product that had really nothing to do with good english speaking manufacturer.

My car go registered back on the 7th of October with no such requirement.

Funny packing and even the exlamation is set upside down:)

Really? Where would you get one of these?

Mita, from our beloved RTA. They think of everything. You get it at the test centre when you take your car for registration.

Thank goodness I won't be "vulnerable to place" anymore. I was losing sleep over that!

Reminds me of this:

At the Al Barsha test centre mine cost only Dh20. Must be a cheap one because the packaging just said "warning triangle" - how dull.

Anon, yours is probably a cheap pirate fake and not a Worthy Thingamy.

I think these come as standard now-a-days on new cars. At least that is the case in India. They are actually pretty helpful when you have a puncture at night and want to warn people.

we actually have these as part of our safety kits that i do replenish every year. very handy to have IMO

So oncoming drivers can't see a full size vehicle on the side of the road, flashing hazards, yet they will surely notice this dinky knock-off. I think someone is getting rich off this deal.
