It'll be quiet around here for a while - I'm off to Oz in the morning for a couple of months.
The first week or two in particular I have a lot of running around with very little time for sitting at a computer. Hopefully things will settle down after that and I'll be able to get back on here, check the UAE blogs to keep myself up-to-date and even post a few things myself.
Am I looking forward to the trip?
You betcha.

Have fun! Hopefully the roadworks in your street have been completed by now? ;.)
Have a terrific trip. We'll miss you here. Have fun, and take care.
what uae blogs do you read? please make a list
Have a great time! :)
They'll probably leave all road works open for the convenience of the national broadband network roll out.
Enjoy and in the meantime can you share the list of the other UAE blogs that you talk about. I need my fix as well. Thanks.
How about listing some of those blogs you check for UAE info? I've looked at some of the ones noted on your page and I haven't found one that can be counted on for new content on a regular basis. Wouldn't want to go through withdraw!
Have fun Seabee - we'll keep the abandoned cars (not) running for when you return! ;)
Hi there!
any chance I can send you something by email in relation to a photo project in Dubai?
I tried looking for your e mail address here but could not find it.
Sorry to bug you on your trip.
J
Hello there,
My name is Jalal Abuthina and am a photo artist living in Dubai. I am currently in the process of finalizing a project about a specific area of Dubai and the limited edition booklet of photos will be available in a few galleries here. There is a particular aspect of the project I would love to discuss with you in private if possible. My e mail is jalal.abuthina@gmail.com
Please send me over an e mail if this interests you and I will reply with full details.
Best wishes,
J
briguyx/Anon@7.10, my blogroll is simply those that have linked to Life in Dubai. I read a whole variety of different blogs, around the world as well as from the UAE. The UAE Community Blog is probably the best place for you to find the local blogs.
