An update on the abandoned cars posts I've been doing every so often.
You could help yourself to any of these I guess, they're on a one kilometre stretch in Dubai Marina.

Moving back to Dubai after 22 years has been an experience! Back then we didn't have the internet or blogs. Now we do I can jot down my thoughts on daily life, things we come up against, things we enjoy, the multi-national society, the laws, the weather...plus other things in general which catch my attention.

A Dubai police search of the first car on your post the Tiida showed fines of AED 29,000 something. No wonder the owner abandoned it..Do you think he would have got more than that at a sale?
Anon@2.45, when I have time I was planning to check them all and see what the grand total of outstanding fines came to.
The fines record gives an idea of when the owner departed too...
meh..none worth taking home :)
Haha, the first thing I did was check the fines on the cars as well :)
Though it looks like only the Tiida has major fines, 249 in total!
Others:
Chevy - 100AED
Volvo - 3000 AED
so where are they keys please
Seabee - apologies for the off topic post, but why don't you have an RSS feed for your blog? It would make it easier for some of your followers to keep up with you and Dubai more easily. Thanks, Jan
