It's blocked for you?

It's working ok for me. Just damn slow, as ever.

google running some sort of anti-spam software thats not keeping up with incoming traffic

I all too often get the 'you look like a hacker/virus spreader/spammer so we won't let you in' message, or the 'search not possible' message.

It's all to do with Etisalat's proxy I read.

Back to this AAAAaaagggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

We're sorry...
... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

The ISP system that Etisalat has adopted is to blame for it. Every internet user is suppose to have a unique ISP number which tracks the user...since Etisalat wants total control over its users..all users have the same ISP provided by Etisalat...so google thinks that 100's of people from the same ISP are trying to search something...so it shows you the msg..that its a virus or a spyware...Etisalat is to blame for this...not Google.

True. I've never had the problem before, only since I came to Dubai and Etisalat was involved.

actually, now is probably a good time to give Windows Live search a good look at and test it out
