I'm obviously missing something, but I can't work out what it is.

El Shahlab, is the Arabic a similar word to 'roastery'?
Hahaha. It's not a roastery for flowers. It's actually a roastery called "Queen Palace Flowers" (not that that makes more sense!).

ReplyDeleteYes..see the little word on the top right? That's 'Roastery' in Arabic. Pronounced 'Mahmasa' with the H sound like the H in 'Mohammad'

ReplyDeleteInterestingly the UAE yellow pages has them listed as a "trader of coffee, confectionary, chocolate, flowers, plants and nuts"!

It took me years to figure out that a roastery wasn't roasting chickens! Big disappointment!
