According to the report:
Driving home through rush hour traffic with "made redundant today" and "project construction manager" on the rear of his vehicle, Mr Blair prompted calls from more than a dozen potential employers.

He can't even abandon the car at the airport and skip the country with those fines against his name. Also three impounding's on the list

ReplyDeleteThis man should be deported; he is irresponsible and dangerous driver. He got fines exceeding up to 60% of limit speed, jumping red light. No wonder he got fired. My advice no one should hire.

With regard to his speeding fines. I'm sure everyone of us would have some skeletons in the closet if they had were scrutinized to his level.

ReplyDeleteAs far as Andy's fines go, I had a look this morning at his offences and they do seem a bit excessive..... 35 fines outstanding, 12 black points, car wanted for impoundment....
But he sounded like a good guy and best of luck to him.
Alex & Dave, I agree, I thought he sounded like a very nice guy too, and he did a great job of selling himself to any prospective employers who may have been listening.

ReplyDeleteThere's something wrong here. The telegraph story has a different phone number on the car. Some kind of scam maybe?
ReplyDeleteNo, not a scam. He had a couple of different phone numbers - if you look at the fourth comment left here you'll see an alternative number.
