Moving back to Dubai after 22 years has been an experience! Back then we didn't have the internet or blogs. Now we do I can jot down my thoughts on daily life, things we come up against, things we enjoy, the multi-national society, the laws, the weather...plus other things in general which catch my attention.

World's biggest fish?
According to the copywriter "Standing tall in the heart of Dubai Maritime City will be the new architectural marvel Amwaj. A shining light for conglomerates aspiring to embark on their next business destination, the next level."
haha! Themed-buildings definitely seem to be the way to go for the future. There was a discussion on Dubai 92FM radio yesterday morning as to what nickname to give to Dubai Airport's new Terminal 3: The Armadillo, the Maggot, the Slinky and the Dubai Sausage were some of the contenders...
So what architecural masterpiece (or two) will they building at the new silicon city?
