Moving back to Dubai after 22 years has been an experience! Back then we didn't have the internet or blogs. Now we do I can jot down my thoughts on daily life, things we come up against, things we enjoy, the multi-national society, the laws, the weather...plus other things in general which catch my attention.

Blast from the past.
I never thought I'd see another - my favourite car name of all time. And there it was, sitting at the traffic lights in front of me.
Redstar, I've thought about the naming meeting often too. My guess is that they wanted an 'up-market' western name - the Nissan Wayne or the Nissan Fred wouldn't have had the connotations they wanted - and one of them thought Cedric would be just right.
Classic name, isn't it. I'd love to have been in the Nissan product team's meeting when the name was chosen.
