We've been told they'd be pulled down for many years now... I guess it's finally time. With the build-quality in Dubai, everything older than 30 years really is crumbling and falling apart. A friend of mine still lives there, and her roof leakes, water pipes burst, tiles are breaking on the floors, A/C broken, garden fence falls down.... they're just too old. But it's a shame.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21258644.post-26662808371474844752009-01-27T21:43:00.000+04:002009-01-27T21:43:00.000+04:00The fact is Anon@7.57 that the people who stay her...The fact is Anon@7.57 that the people who stay here do so because we like it, otherwise we'd leave.Seabeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06939892206726271433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21258644.post-36122120526108495722009-01-27T19:57:00.000+04:002009-01-27T19:57:00.000+04:00why dont you guys move to some other country where...why dont you guys move to some other country where amenities like this are taken for granted. In dubai everyone gets into this mob panic on housing, and social standing is dictated by where you live and how many bedrooms your house has. i moved out of dubai, and god, life became so much better. sick places like dubai produce an unhappy and depressed populace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21258644.post-62173793872952124142009-01-27T19:34:00.000+04:002009-01-27T19:34:00.000+04:00Yes, I remember them from visiting a friend who li...Yes, I remember them from visiting a friend who lived there way back when Nick. I recall that they had a good layout and a nice feel to both the villas and the compound.Seabeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06939892206726271433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21258644.post-11060814969805939942009-01-27T18:11:00.000+04:002009-01-27T18:11:00.000+04:00I used to live there until two years ago. I hope very much they are being renovated. The layout of these villas is better than anything new you can get.huthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09299456569511629114noreply@blogger.com
